S.E.R. Foundation CH

The S.E.R. Foundation CH originated in Basle in 1997.  It is politically and confessionally neutral and is recognised as instrumental to the public good.  Its aim is to build bridges between peoples of different cultures and religions and to support the education and development of children and young people, as well as peace, cultural and environmental projects.  Our hopes lie with our children  and the future belongs to them.

At the moment the S.E.R. Foundation supports 7 youth projects in various countries.  Each of the projects has in common the respect and tolerance towards those around them, and the importance of the dignified treatment of Nature.

S.E.R. Foundation CH and UNO

The Foundations of the countries CH/GER/NL are registered at the United Nations under the title “Foundation for Subjective Experience and Research”, and recognised  by the Economic and Social Council, ECOSOC, as an NGO with advisory status.  They are also associated with the Department of Public Information, DPI.

The S.E.R. Foundation CH collects signatures worldwide towards the Resolution for peace in the Holy Land, which was declared and signed in Jerusalem in 2000.  In 2004 the S.E.R. Foundations D/NL/CH, together with other affiliated organisations,  handed in a Resolution for a “UN World Reconciliation Day” to the head office of UNO in New York, for the consideration of its General Secretary, Kofi Annan.  In an appeal, interested parties were invited to participate in activities in a social, economic, political and cultural sphere  in the second worldwide Reconciliation Week, 22 – 30 April 2006.
